Mark kandborg

Mark Kandborg is a seasoned screenwriter, director, and actor with 30 years in the film and television industry and 130+ IMDb credits. A full member of UBCP/ACTRA and the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC), he brings authenticity and depth to his storytelling, drawing from his diverse background as a stand-up comedian, nightclub bouncer and professional drummer.

He recently sold his screenplay for the crime thriller SLANT, starring Stephen Dorff and Terry Chen, set for theatrical release in 2025. Mark also wrote All My Sins, a short film he also directed  and starred in, now in development as a feature film.​

Armed with a Psychology degree from the University of Hawaii and profound experiences in Vancouver's Downtown East Side and underground clubs, Mark weaves narratives that explore resilience and human connection, crafting characters that deeply resonate with audiences.
